NEW SINGLE RELEASE - Slaney Bay 'EST'

Slaney Bay Unveils Emotional Teaser Single 'EST' and Teases Highly Anticipated EP 'Why Does Love Mean Loss?'

South-West London’s very own alternative indie trio, Slaney Bay, has just announced their highly anticipated EP titled ‘Why Does Love Mean Loss?’. Fans can mark their calendars for September 29th, the official release date, but in the meantime, they can indulge in the early teaser single, ‘EST’, which sets the stage for the emotional journey that awaits.

Frontwoman Cait Whitley sheds light on the inspiration behind ‘EST’, describing it as a heartfelt story of a love interest departing from your life. Whitley beautifully captures the essence of longing and desperation, envisioning the entire song unfolding within the confines of an airport. You find yourself summoning every ounce of courage to convince them to stay, but with their boarding time rapidly approaching, the window of opportunity to confess your feelings grows narrower. Alongside the track, Slaney Bay has also unveiled an accompanying music video which we will link below.

The band is made of childhood friends Cait Whitely (vocals), Joel Martin (bass) and Will Nicola-Thompson (guitar), and the song comes as they catch their breath from a manic few months on the live circuit.

Their music effortlessly carves a space for the band within the alternative indie landscape, showcasing their undeniable musical talent and breath for genuinely refreshing storytelling. The EP ‘Why Does Love Mean Loss?’ promises to be an enchanting and immersive experience that further solidifies Slaney Bay’s position in the spotlight of the music industry.

Stay tuned for the EP’s full release on September 29th.
