NEW SINGLE RELEASE - Lo Lauren 'Monster'

For Lo Lauren, the release of ‘Monster’ invites the listener into her real and incredibly raw world where emotions run high and we have a front row seat, viewing her detailed and intrinsic relationships.

The vulnerability and exposure of the song really distinguishes itself in the pop genre. Following on from her recent hits ‘Never The One’ and ‘Only One On Earth’, this new track has ignited her dynamite career and added an incredible spark to her growing discography.

On the inspiration behind the single, Lo Lauren explains, “Monster is about wanting to be with someone that’s already in a relationship – a tricky situation that I personally went through! It’s a true question of morals and being torn over what’s right and wrong – should I break someone else’s heart or my own?.

The song emulates these feelings she expresses. Energetic basslines are partnered together with moody guitar riffs explaining that this is a song to blast with sheer mania. The gritty lyrics plunge us into her turmoil, “I’d be your homewrecker, bad things I would do / I’d throw away my morals, just to end up with you”. We are implicitly invited to share in her exposure while pondering on questions of morality, it’s a song that plays over and over in your mind. She breathes fresh life into the tracks that once served as the soundtrack to your teenage years, infusing them with a renewed sense of vitality.

BBC presenter, Abbie McCarthy, elevated the single to the status of her ‘Track of the Week’ on BBC Introducing Kent, describing it as nothing short of “Pop perfection.” We can expect big things from her in the future!
